Sample Prep/Analytical Batching

1. After the Project Manager approves the work order for analysis, the samples are batched into either     Prep or Analytical Batches

2. The chemist tracks new samples by printing out the departmental backlog from LIMS.

3. Prep batches are completed for samples requiring a preparatory step before analysis, such as,      digestion, extraction, filtration, etc.

4. Once prepped, the samples are batched into Prep Sequences.  These sequences contain all blanks,      samples, standards and QC required for NELAC
